4. Now you'll notice the selected folder or file has disappeared from its former location. Even if you try to copy, delete, move or rename the parent directory of your protected folder or file, you'll keep getting the "Access Denied" error.
5. Exit the Protect My Folders application. The protected folder or file remains protected.

To unlock a password protected folder, launch the application. It will ask you to enter the password you've set previously. On successful authentication, the program will open. Just select the folder you want to unlock, and then click the "Unlock" button! It's that simple!

   If you select Brute-force attack, set the minimum and maximum length of the password and what symbols to be searched. Begin with trying short passwords using the full character set, then you can increase the length of password simultaneously decreasing the character set to keep the required time acceptable.

   

   Often the Mask attack used if you already know some symbols or characters in the password. You can specify the mask to decrease the passwords combinations to be verified. For example, you know that the password contains 4 characters, starts with "q" and ends with '2'. So, the Password mask should be set to "q??2".

   

4. Click the Next button to start the recovery process. Once your password has been recovered, the program clearly notifies you of the results.

   

5. Now you are able to open the password-protected PDF document with the recovered password. That's it!

How to Spoof MAC Address on Android Phones

Spoofing MAC Address on Android Devices

A Media Access Control address (MAC address) is a 12-character unique identifier assigned to a specific piece of hardware such as the network adapter of your WiFi device. In simple words, a MAC address can be used to uniquely identify your Android phone on the Internet or the local network.

Even though MAC address is embedded on the hardware device during manufacture, it can still be spoofed to input a new one of your choice. Here is a detailed instruction on how to spoof MAC address on your Android phone.

Before you spoof the MAC address, you need to record the original/current MAC address of your device which can be done according to the instruction below:

• On the Home Screen of your phone, tap Menu button and go to Settings.
• Tap About Device and go to Status
• Now scroll down to record the 12-digit code shown under Wi-Fi Mac address. An address would read something like:

Requirements for Spoofing the MAC Address

1. Rooted Android Phone
2. BusyBox app installed on your phone
3. Once BusyBox is installed, you need to install Terminal app

Once the above requirements are satisfied, follow the instructions below to spoof your MAC address:

Hijacking shutdown button

There is some trick for you. you can use it easy.

As an avid user of the Sleep function on my laptop, I’ve been more than irritated with Windows 7 or Vista’s habit of changing the Sleep/Shutdown button into an “Install Updates and Shut Down” button whenever there are updates from Windows Update.
After the last time I accidentally clicked this stupid button when I just wanted to enter sleep mode, I decided to look for a solution.

Update: Windows 7 does the same thing to my Shutdown button, and this same registry hack fixes the problem.

Manual Registry Hack
If you’d like to manually create this hack, you can open up regedit.exe using the start menu search box and then browse down to the following key, creating the key if it doesn’t exist.

Add a 32-bit DWORD value called NoAUAsDefaultShutdownOption with a value of 1. No reboot should be necessary.

Method 5: Reset Windows Password by Third-party Software

With respect to get rid of forgotten Windows 8 password, you can still resort to Windows password recovery software to reset Windows 8 password.

1. Download the self-extracting Zip file of PCUnlocker package.
2. Uncompress the package, there is a ISO image: pcunlocker.iso. Burn it onto a CD/DVD or USB flash drive.
3. Boot your locked computer from the newly burned CD/DVD or USB flash drive.

Download Registry Hack

Unzip the file and double-click on the StopHijackingMySleepButton.reg file to activate the registry hack. You shouldn’t have to restart anything, as the changes will happen immediately. There’s also a registry file to uninstall the hack.

I believe there is a similar option for XP, but I’m guessing the key is located in a different place.
